How frequently do you hear individuals claiming 'they don't have time'?
Let's explore this concept and its implications. Time is a construct, and it's ultimately our choice how we wish to manage it.
When people tell me they lack time to play, care for their health, or spend time with friends, I feel compelled to question the true underlying reason behind this.
Fundamentally, how we allocate our time is a decision, despite any internal debates. You decide what you prioritize and focus on in every moment. When you claim you lack time, you're essentially stating that this isn't a priority for you right now and it's not where you place your value.
It's crucial to examine our mental frameworks. Typically, this indicates that our minds and ego are leading us, rather than our heart and soul, guided by our higher self. We've often allowed external influences to determine what is important to us. We must take charge and decide for ourselves what is vital for our well-being. This mindset is often rooted in the inability to simply 'be' or relinquish control.
Frequently, there's a need to examine boundary issues more closely. Where do we struggle to say NO or prioritize ourselves? Where are we failing to express our genuine needs? How often do we keep ourselves constantly busy to avoid taking responsibility for our lives and looking deeper?
I've also observed that the things people claim they lack time for are precisely what they truly need in their lives. Our minds create this "I don't have time" program as a way to avoid confronting the changes necessary to prioritize and accommodate our well-being.
Energetically speaking, there are 'blinders' in the field that we have unconsciously created, allowing us to carry on with our lives as we always have.
At times, people use it as a means to avoid 'hurting' others' feelings or to refrain from expressing their truth at that moment. It is certainly our right to do so, but I encourage us to gradually practice the art of honesty as much as we can for the clearest communication that benefits everyone involved.
One way to support ourselves is by addressing a frequently dysregulated Central Nervous System. At times, our systems are perpetually in overdrive and require help and reminders that they are secure and it's okay to relax. Practices like Deep Belly Breathing, Humming, Toning, and Body Shaking are extremely beneficial for regulating our systems and fostering a sense of calm and presence within our bodies.
In which areas of your life do you frequently apply this "No Time" program, and where can you cultivate a deeper understanding and responsibility to build a life with the Time you desire, allowing you to pursue other interests you wish to follow?
If you're prepared, we can also explore how to 'play' with Time, adjusting it to expand or contract as it benefits us, provided it doesn't harm anyone else.
Remember that time is not linear, and there is much more to understand about how we relate to it.
